Comparative and Superlative Forms of EnglishIn English, the comparative form is used to compare two or more entities, while the superlative form is used to show that an entity is the greatest among a group. For example:- \"I am younger than you.\" (This shows that I am not as old as you)- \"The cat is the largest among all animals.\" (This shows that the cat is the biggest animal)To make these forms, we add -er or -est at the end of the word for comparison, and -est at the end of the word for the superlative. For example:- \"He is older than his brother.\" (This shows that he is older than his brother)- \"She is the tallest girl in her class.\" (This shows that she is the tallest girl in her class)Note: In some cases, the comparative form can be omitted if the meaning is clear from the context. For example: \"The cat is bigger than the dog.\"
